PASEO has scheduled four SEO Pre-Certification Academies at four different locations around the state in 2025. The 2025 Academies include:
April 21-25, 2025 – Berks County
Boyertown Community Ambulance Service, 2 E. Second St, Boyertown, PA 19512
June 9-13, 2025 – Centre County
College Twp Municipal Building, 1481 E College Avenue, State College, PA 16801
August 25-29, 2025 – Beaver County
Beaver County Conservation District, 156 Cowpath Rd, Aliquippa, PA 15001
October 20-24, 2025 – York County
York County 4-H Center, 771 Stoverstown Rd, York, PA 17408
The Sewage Enforcement Officer (SEO) Precertification Academy is broken up into two separate phases: PHASE 1: Self-Study Orientation Course – This is roughly 8-10 hours of self-guided study that you complete at home prior to arriving for the classroom-based training. PHASE 2: Classroom-Based Course – This is 4.5 days of in-person training with PASEO instructors in a classroom setting.
Prior to attending the SEO Precertification Academy, Candidates will need to have completed the pre-requisite Soils course. Candidates must register themselves for Certification Exam on PADEP’s Clean Water Academy (exam registration is not automatically included with the Academy registration).
