Description: Effluent pumps are an essential part of any pressure distribution system. This course will discuss pressure distribution as produced by a mechanical pump. In addition to various pump characteristics, students will learn how to estimate the friction loss in a piping system and how to calculate the size of pump needed for a pressure dosed system. The correct use of pump curves will be covered as well as how to properly calculate the correct volume of a dose.
Continuing Ed: This training is approved by PADEP for 3 SEO credits total.
Cost: $105 for members of PASEO (or PSMA/POWRA/PAPSS); $120 for non-members. Lunch on your own.
