Description: The primary purpose of sewage facilities planning is to protect the public health, safety, and welfare. An SEO’s main responsibility in planning is to determine if the site is generally suitable for on lot sewage disposal systems. This course will help students become knowledgeable about the purposes of sewage facilities planning and gain a better understanding of the planning process of a local agency. The course will serve as a primer on what a planning module is and what the various modules do. Students will come away with a better understanding of reviewing planning modules.
Continuing Ed: This course is approved by PADEP for 3 SEO credits.

Time: The training course runs 12:30pm-4:30pm. Check-in opens at 12:15pm. Lunch on your own.
