ECOFLO IN PA – COCO BIOFILTER TRAINING COURSE

DESCRIPTION: Ecoflo Biofilters are advanced treatment systems that have been approved for use in PA as alternate systems. The focus of this half day, 3- SEO credit course will be the new EC7 Coco filter models. The course will provide a technical overview of the coco filter system and its performance in reducing BOD5 and TSS. General system design standards for both plastic and concrete tanks will be presented along with absorption area sizing criteria. Construction and installation techniques will be reviewed along with permitting guidance, as well as system operation and maintenance requirements.
CONTINUING EDUCATION: This training is approved by PADEP for 3 SEO credits total.
