DESCRIPTION: It is essential that SEOs have working knowledge of the approved alternate systems used in PA. This course will review the alternate system listing for this technology and educate SEOs about the design and installation of the American PercRite micromound system. Part 1 of the course will review the basic siting and design requirements and the details of sand and drip tubing placement. Operational design calculations will also be demonstrated. Part 2 of the course defines manufacturer and SEO responsibilities and then focusses on critical elements of the SEO inspection of a micromound installation. Completion of this course will officially delegate SEOs to independently review and issue permits for PercRite micromound absorption areas.
CONTINUING EDUCATION: This training is approved by PADEP for 3 SEO credits total.
