DESCRIPTION: The objective of this full day course is to familiarize SEOs with the Orenco AdvanTex treatment system. This alternate classification permits the use of the AdvanTex as a treatment system used for the specific purposes of reducing BOD5, TSS, and total nitrogen in the sewage effluent prior to discharge to an absorption area. The course will focus primarily on reviewing the Orenco AdvanTex alternate classification listing. Upon completion of this course, SEOs will have independent permitting authority for this alternate technology.
CONTINUING EDUCATION: This training is approved by PADEP for 6 SEO credits total.
