DESCRIPTION: This course will educate SEOs about the design review and installation inspections for the American PercRite drip dispersal technology. The course will review the basic siting and design requirements. Operational design calculations will be demonstrated including a design review worksheet. The course defines manufacturer and SEO responsibilities and then focuses on critical elements of the SEO inspection of a drip installation. Successful completion of this course will officially delegate sewage enforcement officers to independently review and issue permits for the Drip Irrigation Systems: American PERC-RITE primary effluent (Alternate Technology Classification Number # A2010-0005-0002) and American PERC-RITE secondary effluent (Alternate Technology Classification Number # A2014-0022-0002). (Students must pass the course knowledge test with a grade of 70% to obtain continuing education credits & receive delegated authority.)
CONTINUING EDUCATION: This training is approved by PADEP for 3 SEO credits total. Students must successfully pass the course knowledge test to receive CE.
